Miasino, located in the province of Novara and between the Cusio hills on Lake Orta, is a magical village of a great interest for tourist, although its strong authentical identity. In the past wealthy families lived here and today saves two splendid artistic and cultural treasures: the sumptuous parish Church of San Rocco with its paintings and wooden works by international artists, and the 17th-century Villa Nigra with splendid frescoes overlooking the square and the internal courtyard. The Miasino Jazz Classic Festival attracts every august with its music a great number of enthusiasts. If you want to end the day in an excellent way, you should have a dinner at Fattoria del Pino or at Taverna in Antico Agnello either in summer or in winter. The last element that demonstrates the uniqueness of Miasino are the seventy gates which decorates the historic centre.
